Traditional round log cabin in central Finland in Keuruu on the shores of Lake Kuusijärvi.
The cottage has sleeping places for a total of 6 people (incl. 1 sofa bed), two small bedrooms and a living room kitchen. The cottage has electricity and drinkable borehole water comes from the kitchen tap. The cottage has crockery for 6 people, a fireplace, a TV and basic kitchen utensils.
Wood-burning sauna is at your own expense through the terrace. There is a small dressing room in the sauna and there is a shower on the side of the sauna. Clean borehole water also enters the shower.
In the courtyard of the cottage there is a wood-burning barbecue and a table group. A rowing boat can be found on the beach. The beach is slowly deepening, the bottom is small rock/hard clay, so you can swim barefoot.
At the back of the cottage there is a wooden lattice which is connected to the outside. Firewood is included in the rental price.
There are other rental cottages in the vicinity of the cottage, but there is no direct view of the neighboring cottage. Between the cottages there is natural wood.
By car you can get directly next to the cottage. Near the cottage you can find good hiking, berry growing and mushroom fields. In addition, there is Kuusikoski nearby, where you can fish (fishing permits are also available), and there is a nice lava camp/campfire place on the rapids.
It is also possible to rent wood-burning hot tub, SUP boards and/or cabin kayaks for an additional fee for the cottage. If you need more activities, for example, it is approx. 55km to Tuuri village shop and 35km to Ähtäri Zoo/Flowpark.
Welcome to relax in the natural environment on the shore of Kuusijärvi!
