The canoeing route of Kolovesi National Park leaves from Kirkkoranta. The distance to Kirkkoranta is 26km. Canoes can be rented from Kirkkoranta for use on the Visit Savonlinna website. An official snowmobile trail leaves next to the property. Ski resort Pääskyvuore and illuminated ski trails are 11km away. In the courtyard of the house there is a long sledding hill for children.
