Newly completed (2023), this log holiday home offers a high-quality setting for a year-round stay. The destination combines modern comfort, closeness to nature and elegant Scandinavian decor, making it an ideal destination for both soothing relaxation and active holidays.
The complex includes three buildings:

✔️ Detached guest room with additional accommodation for guests
All buildings have underfloor heating, and in the main house and guest room, in addition, an air heat pump. The water comes from a clean borehole, which ensures good water quality for all users.
Location and surroundings
The cottage is located on the west bank of Keurusselä, on a quiet and scenic plot of 2 hectares. The towns of Keuruu and Mänttä are within a reasonable drive, and the nearest shop and pharmacy can be found in Kolho village. The area offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, boating and camping, and the Keurusselkä Sports Centre and Hotel Keurusselkä offer additional activities and events throughout the year.
The cottage's courtyard area is carefully planned and landscaped, combining proximity to nature and a finished courtyard area. Large grassy areas provide space for relaxation and outdoor games, and there are extensive terraces attached to the buildings to bring additional living space.
A large pier, a rowing boat, a kayak and a stand-up paddle await you on the shore, which are at guests' disposal. In addition, there is an equipped gym in the courtyard, which allows you to work out even on vacation.
Main house (82 m²) — modern comfort in the middle of nature
The main house is a log structure, spacious and bright, where large landscape windows bring nature into the interior. The interior of the house is executed in the Scandinavian modern style, where warm materials, high-quality furniture and harmonious color shades create a cozy atmosphere.

Tight cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 30 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 7 days before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.

300 € Rental DepositDAMAGES, LIABILITY AND LIABILITY ISSUES
If you notice something during your holiday that needs attention or improvement, please get in touch with the lessor as soon as possible.
The lessee is responsible for any damages they may cause and their costs.
The lessee has put up a security deposit. The security can be used, for example, in situations where keys have not been returned or have been lost, the property, its equipment, furniture or fittings have been damaged or lost, final cleaning has not been carried out or is substantially incomplete. The lessor reserves the right to further claims.
The Lessor shall not be liable for damage caused to the Lessor due to force majeure, natural phenomena, movement in the area or in nature.
In the event of a material breach of the security or other rental conditions, the lessor has the right to immediately suspend the booking without refund. -
Other rental termsWelcome to Villa Foxboro! We are happy to welcome you as our guest. We ask that you consult the safety and operating instructions for the holiday home, which can be found in the main house folder. Equipment and permissions ✔ Furniture, kitchen utensils, cutlery, electricity and wood for fireplace and bellows. ✔ Beds with mattresses, pillows and blankets. ✔ Use of the bath and sauna (instructions for use should be followed). ✔ The gym is used by the lessees at their own risk. Number of guests and additional guests ✔ The villa can be used by no more than the agreed number of people. ✔ The use of a tent, caravan or camper is allowed only with the permission of the lessor. ✔ Contact the lessor if the number of people indicated in the reservation increases. Bed linen and towels ✔ Not included in the rental, but are available as an additional service. Keys and door code ✔ The lessee receives a door code for the main house (valid during the rental period). ✔ Two (2) keys will be provided for the use of other facilities, which will be returned at the end of the rental. Electric car charging ✔ Charging is an additional service and the car can only be charged from the plug reserved for it. Alarm system ✔ The main house and storage building have a fire alarm system connected to the alarm center. ✔ The fire alarm in the sauna cabin is not connected to the alarm center. ✔ In the event of a fire alarm, the main house camera takes individual pictures for the assessment of the situation in the alarm center. The camera must not be obscured. Cleaning and leaving the villa ✔ Furniture in place, dishes washed and waste taken to the containers intended for them. ✔ Gas grill, pizza oven and smoker with equipment should be cleaned (not included in final cleaning). ✔ When leaving, turn off the lights and close the doors and windows. smoking ✔ Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas ✔ Cigarette butts and other waste should be collected in a container reserved for them. Nature values are emphasized in this place. We value peace and therefore this is not suitable for a party.
