Stay at Reindeer Yard: A Unique and Immersive Experience in Nature
Guests staying at Reindeer Yard have the rare opportunity to spend time and stay overnight in an animal farm setting, home to reindeer, goats, chickens, cats, and a dog. The cabin is located right across from the reindeer enclosure, allowing visitors to observe the natural rhythm of the reindeer’s daily life. Additionally, a guided tour of the enclosure can be booked separately for a more in-depth experience.
Reindeer Yard offers a unique and cozy escape from everyday routines. Here, you can take time for yourself and enjoy the warmth of a charming, wood-heated riihisauna. There is no running water, so washing up is done in a delightfully traditional way—using carried water and a camping shower while seated on the lower sauna bench. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to four guests (two adults, one child under 12, and one infant under 2).
Important Information: Reindeer Yard is located within a visitor-friendly animal farm, so there may be occasional daytime activity in the yard. The cabin is not heated and is available for summer stays only. Guests should dress accordingly, but blankets and wool socks are available to borrow. The host lives in the same courtyard and is easily reachable if needed.
