The cottage is located on the sunny southern shore of the island of Lomi in Korppoo, about 1.5 km by sea from Korpoström. A cozy, transformative and lovingly conjured cottage that comfortably accommodates a large family with children or even two families. The buildings in the area together form an intimate ensemble, where you can stroll along the wooden walkways from house to house, even barefoot.
There is a new magnificent main building designed by the architect (65 m2), whose large living area with fireplace and wonderful kitchen provides a pleasant environment for spending time together even when the rain surprises. Kitchens have a good level of equipment. The building additionally includes a master bedroom, a storage room and a burning indoor toilet.
The real heart of the cottage is a covered summer kitchen surrounded by a terrace, which connects the main house and the separate sauna cabin. In the cozy summer kitchen, cooking, grilling and dining with even larger groups are comfortable. The sauna cabin (25 m2), which was completed in 2007, has a kitchenette, a lounge area and a loft with overnight facilities. The continuously heated sauna is heated with claps. The sauna comes with warm water as well as other water points. From the sauna you can reach the swimming pier, which is about 20 metres away, along the wooden walkway, or you can cool off in the outdoor shower.
The three-hectare private plot is bounded on the south by a long coastline, the scenery of which is framed by smooth cliffs and insular mud. Pihamaa is the most beautiful island nature. There are good fishing grounds and spongy terrain around. You can safely attach a larger boat to the piers and two large buoys. At the end of the pier, the depth is approx. 2.5 meters.
In the immediate vicinity of the main building and the sauna is a courtyard building completed in 2008 with a large bedroom (24 m2) (4 persons) and two smaller rooms with a total sleeping space for four people. In the courtyard building there is also a charming PuuCee.
During the summer, Korpoström Marina Archipelago Center offers wonderful cultural activities and dining opportunities. The marina's facilities also include laundry facilities. The nearest grocery store is K-market in the centre of Korppoo, whose nice shopkeeper delivers groceries to the pier on demand twice a week.
Archipelago buses transport guests to the bus stop at Korpoström Marina. For those who drive their own car, Korpoström has a parking space belonging to the cabin.
