Palvia offers a unique environment to gather and accommodate various small groups such as family gatherings, corporate events or groups of friends. It is located in the middle of pure nature in its own peace without disturbing others. A marked nature trail, a berry and mushroom forest and fishing can be reached immediately from the yard. Although the place is on land in the middle of quiet nature, it is a relatively short distance from the town of Jämsä and the activities
What is included in the rental?
You will have at your disposal a large courtyard with approx. 300m2 of space and 130m2 terrace.
Main house, three separate cottages, luxury tent, beach sauna, smoke sauna, storage/wood shed, outdoor toilet, hut and large barbecue canopy. At your disposal are 4 indoor toilets/showers, 2 boats and sup boards, indoor/outdoor games, firewood and wifi. Washing machine and dryer possible in multi-day stays. Equipment varies depending on the season. All facilities, with the exception of the luxury tent, are warm all year round
Beds in the lower floor of the main house 2, upstairs 5, cabins 12 and 4 beds in the luxury tent. If necessary, 2 more camping beds and 2 sofa beds. During the summer season 26.5-28.9 weekend bookings only for the whole weekend (Fri-Sun). The desired arrival and departure times can be arranged depending on the situation, as well as day visits without overnight stay. Bed linen and towel you can rent from the house or bring your own with you. Final cleaning is included in the price of accommodation. Smoke sauna (depending on the air) can be booked separately by the house when heated. Dogs are usually allowed for a fee. Our destination offers an excellent setting for self-help free pastime such as fishing, berry picking, mushroom picking, swimming, boating, sup-boarding, skiing, hiking and yard games. A marked nature trail can be reached directly from the yard.
A wide range of guided nature activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoe tours, yard olympics and canoeing are provided by local company “nature exercise callus tmi” for a fee separately.
Theresort does not have its own catering services, local companies such as “Kievari Rantapirtti” offer catering services. They also have experiences such as snowmobile safaris and dog sledding safaris. Make deals directly through their website.
The surrounding area offers plenty of events and activities. Himosfestar, World Rally Championship, Himos Golf and Jamsanpaintball are just to name a few. In addition, there are many cultural sites in the area, such as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites Petäjävesi Old Church and the Verla Wood Grinding and Cardboard Factory.

Booking and cancellation termsThe reservation takes effect once payment has been made. Payment is made by paying an invoice which is sent to your email. You can pay by credit card or bank transfer. Accommodation can be cancelled free of charge when the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the start date of the accommodation. In this case, the full payment will be refunded.

Payment termsAccommodation will be paid in full at the time of booking. Prices in the price list are valid until further notice and prices may vary depending on the season and offers. We reserve the right to make changes.

Delays and compensationsThe customer is responsible for the accommodation and its belongings during the rental period. The customer is obliged to compensate the lessee for the damage caused to the object or its movable property in full.
The property may not be used by more people than specified in the accommodation. Camping in a tent or caravan on the grounds of the resort is prohibited.
Regular final cleaning is included in the price of the accommodation. If the final cleaning requires special measures such as removing difficult stains from furniture or terraces, degreasing the floors of the barbecue area or removing dog hair from furniture, an additional charge of 55€/hour will be charged. Bed linen and sauna towel can be rented from the house (10€/set) or bring your own. It is not allowed to sleep on the beds without linen. A laundry fee of 15€/bed will be charged if you sleep without sleep.
Dogs must have a permit and a 60€/dog/accommodation fee will be charged.
Other beach dwellers in Palvia Lake must be given their own beach peace. No boarding is allowed on the beaches of others and, even when boating, the distance from the beaches of others should be at least 30 metres for privacy reasons. Outside, music and other loud noise are prohibited between 23:00 and 07:00.
