HOLIDAY HOUSE HONKAMÄKI is located on the Kuhmalahti Bay of Kangasala on the edge of the largest wilderness area in Southern Finland.
The 180m2 holiday house has room for relaxation and togetherness for a group of people or even several families and enough square meters for privacy. Renovated 9/2023 and completed glass terrace 6/2024.
3 bedrooms, 10 beds (3+3+4), well equipped kitchen with new appliances and utensils, large common living/living room, 2 toilets, pool room with fireplace.
INDOOR POOL and covered illuminated efficiently massaging always warm OUTDOOR HOT TUB (7 persons). It doesn't rain in the hot tub. It is pleasant to be there in all seasons and look at the beautiful Finnish open field landscape and nature animals.
Wood-heated saunas: INDOOR SAUNA (3 persons) and outdoor atmospheric BASEMENT SAUNA (10 persons). Finished firewood in the joinery. The outdoor area and barbecue area are hit by the beauty of the sunsets.
Nice yard area and quiet location. No neighbors.
In summer, trampoline with safety net, yard swing, children's swings and yard games. It is possible to rent electric fatbike bicycles (2pcs) from the host for an additional fee.
A baby cot, high chair and potty for the youngest of the family on request are included in the price. Bed linen and bath towels on request for an extra charge of 15€/person. Hand towels and table cloths are included. Charging for an electric car must always be agreed in advance with the renter. Pets allowed in part of the house, to be agreed in advance when renting.
Good opportunities for outdoor activities and activities all year round by walking, mountain biking or skiing. Marked hiking trails and lean-tos and hearths in the Laipanmaa area.

Kuhmalahti Areena is located in the courtyard of Kuhmalahti's new primary school (completed in autumn 2023), where children have a lot of play equipment such as a climbing rack and swings. In winter, get outside. Public beach at Längelmävesi beach 2km. For an additional fee, the host offers a smoke sauna, and in winter there is also an outdoor swimming facility. Great location for rally lovers.

Check-in for weekly or weekend rentals on Friday, Fri-Fri (7 nights) or Fri-Sun (2 nights). Other episodes can be inquired in the post. Check-in/check-in between 16:00 and 20:00 and check-out by 12:00.

Tight cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 30 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 7 days before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.

Other rental termsLiability for damages of the renter (s): If the water in the indoor pool has to be changed for a reason caused by the tenant, the tenant will have to pay a compensation amount of €2000. The tenant/lodgers are liable for damages for the movable property or property they have violated. The lessee is obliged to inform the landlord of the damage caused before leaving the property. If the holiday home has been left particularly messy, the landlord will charge the renter for the extra time spent cleaning.
