In the cottage you can relax in the spacious living area, which features a sturdy open fireplace made of natural stone and a newly renovated kitchen. Featured amenities include a 55-inch Internet TV and a Bluetooth speaker. The cottage is on a slope, and from the large windows in the living room you can admire the lush forest landscape of Kuusamo right up to the tops. In winter, the landscape turns into a magical thick-snow forest.
You will be accommodated in three high-ceilinged bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and separate walk-in closet, and two with two twin beds and plenty of closet space. Downstairs there is a fireplace lounge, another TV, laundry facilities and a sauna. The cottage has two separate toilets. You can get out of the sauna to cool off. The cottage has a dishwasher, a
washing machine and a drying cupboard.A quiet cottage area is located a short drive from the slopes of Ruka, but in your own peace. Rukan Sale is just over 4 km away. The ski trail and snowmobile trail are less than 1 km away, and the St. Jyssäs hiking trail can also be reached from the same road. From the cottage there is a short path down the slope to Pyhäjärvi. You will find a sledge and two adult and one children's sliding shoes. Your outdoor gear can be stored in a lockable storage facility next to the entrance. In the summer we also use a shared rowing boat on the shore of Pyhäjärvi
, about 250m from the cottage.In addition to skiing and skiing, Ruka's fantastic year-round recreational opportunities include mountain biking, downhill biking, snowshoeing, camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing, snowmobiling, reindeer, huskies and dog sledding.
Pets are not allowed in our lodge.
