The cottages are located in a quiet location right on the tip of the island of Kärnä. The beach has a shared sauna and a swimming area. In addition, a lean-to with a very child-friendly sandy beach can be found 700 metres away

Recreational opportunities include a fishy lake, a ski resort on the other side of the lake and an 18-hole golf course in Lappajärvi.
