Log villa Kaisla is located next to the Kriip Nature Reserve and Tenhola Ridge on the Lepolahti farm in Hattula, north of the town of Hämeenlinna.
Getting away from everyday life is easy to reach here in the tranquility of Hämäläinen as the Helsinki-Tampere motorway is only a 10-minute drive away.
The oldest areas of Finnish inland settlement are located right here in the Vanajavesi valley in Häme. Good hiking trails can be found on the nearby Tenhola Ridge, which partly follow the same roads and paths that humans have been trampling for 1,000 years.
Kaisla is right next to the Tenhola ridge and at the end of the cottage road at the bottom of the cape. The nearest neighbor, the Lumme cottage, is located at a distance of about 150 meters. The timber between the huts prevents direct line of sight.
Downstairs there is a living-kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a toilet, a small dressing room, a washroom and a wood-burning sauna for 4-5 saunas. Upstairs is a sleeping loft. Firewood and wireless Internet access are included in the rental.
The large terrace has yard furniture and the private beach is only 25 meters away. During the summer, a gas grill is available on the terrace.
The view is northwest directly towards the big Vanajanselka.
The beach is shallow with a mud/sand bottom. There is a pier and a rowing boat on the shore. There is about a metre of water at the end of the pier. Near the beach there is a campfire place and yard furniture.
Maximum occupancy is 6 adults and 2 children. The cabin must not be used by more than the stated maximum number of beds (6+2). In case of suspicion of an excess of the number of persons, the landlord has the right to go to check the situation during the rental.
Sounds from the nearby motorway (distance about 1 km) may sometimes, depending on the direction of the wind, be heard in the yard area.

Booking and cancellation terms
If the reservation is made earlier than three months before the rental, we will charge a reservation fee of 25% of the rental. The reservation is confirmed when the reservation fee has been paid. In this case, the final invoice must be paid six weeks before the start of the rental. The reservation fee will be withheld in case of cancellation.
If the booking is made later than three months before the rental, we do not charge a separate booking fee. In this case, we will charge the entire rental amount approximately two months before the rental. If the booking is cancelled, we will withhold 25% of the rental price as a booking fee
.If the rental/reservation fee has not been paid by the due date stated on the invoice, we will consider the reservation cancelled.
If the reservation is cancelled after payment of the rental 30 days before the start of the holiday, we will withhold 50% of the rental price. If the booking is cancelled later than 14 days from the start of the holiday, we will withhold the entire rental amount.
We hope to receive written information about the possible cancellation (letter, e-mail) as soon as the obstacle arises.
If the reason for the cancellation is a sudden illness, etc. (medical certificate required) we withhold 25% of the rent and return the rest of the rent to the customer. In case of cancellation during the holiday, the rent paid by the customer will not be
refunded.The landlord has the right to cancel the reservation in case of force majeure, in which case the customer will be refunded the rent in full.

Delays and compensations
The owner is not obliged to compensate for any damage or expense caused by a third party (e.g. electricity company) or due to natural conditions.
During the rental period, the owner of the cottage takes care of snow work for the access roads that can be used by tractor. The tenant is responsible for cleaning porches, stairs and paths, as well as moving around them at his own risk.
The cabin must not be used by more than the stated maximum number of beds (6+2). In case of suspicion of an excess of the number of persons, the landlord has the right to go to check the situation during the rental.
The use of a tent or caravan on the territory of the resort without the permission of the owner is prohibited.
Pets are not allowed in the cottage.
Smoking is prohibited indoors.
Washing dishes is not included in the final cleaning.

Damages and deposits
The customer is obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the resort or its property.
