In winter, the ski trail runs on the ice of the lake approx. 100 m from the cottage and the illuminated trail is only 1 km away. The closest ski resorts are Pallas and Olos (20min). Levi and Ylläs take 45 minutes. The border of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is about 3 km away, so hiking trails and fells suitable for free skiing do not have to be looked far away.
In the summer, fishing, camping and cycling are the number one things to do in the area. Lake Jeris has been fished for hundreds of years. Proof of this are the Keimiöniemi Kalapirtit, which is worth visiting. Salmon can be caught 25 km from the Muonion River.
There are
many different options to reach the cottage. Fly to Kittila or train to Kolar, from there by bus, private car or rented car to Keimiöniemi. The nearest bus stop is 1 km from the cottage. The easiest way to get around the area is by car, making it easier for you to enjoy all the possibilities of the
area.
The rental price includes final cleaning. As an additional service available to order:
Bed linen 25€/person
Children's set (Baby cot, high chair, etc.) 30€/vk

Ahkio (suitable for carrying a child, backrest, visor, etc.) 30€/vk
The
rental period is basically a week (Sat-Sat). Longer and shorter rentals are agreed separately.
Making a reservation
Reservations must be made either by e-mail to villauivelo@gmail.com, by phone at +358 45 78333083 or through Nettimökki service.
The owner will send the customer an invoice as agreed by e-mail. By paying the booking fee, the customer accepts the booking and cancellation policy. The reservation will be confirmed on arrival of the reservation fee to the owner's account
.Cancellation conditions
Any cancellations are hoped for as early as possible. Cancellations should always be made by email to villauivelo@gmail.com. Cancellation is considered to have been made when the message has reached the owner.
The customer has the right to cancel his/her reservation under the following conditions:
Cancellation 28 days before the start of the reservation Charge booking fee Cancellation 14 days before the start of the reservation Charge 50% of the total bill Cancellation 7 days before the start of the reservation Charge 100% of the total invoice
If the customer cancels their reservation less than 28 days before the start of the reservation for no particular reason, they must seek compensation from their own travel insurance. If the reason for the cancellation is the customer's own or a loved one's sudden illness, accident or other similar, the guest has the right to cancel the booking and get a refund of the price paid less the booking
fee (€100).Owner's right to cancel a booking
In the event of force majeure, force majeure, or an obstacle independent of the owner (e.g. fire or water damage), the owner may cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the payment made
.If necessary, the owner has the right to cancel the reservation if the fees for the reservation are not paid on time.
The booking fee and rent will be paid against the invoice to the account declared by the owner.
The booking will be confirmed when the minimum booking fee of €100 or the full invoice has been paid. If the reservation fee is paid separately, it will be deducted from the full price of the rental
. Therental of the property must be paid in full no later than the invoice due date, i.e. 4 weeks (28 days) before the start of the rental period. If the full invoice has not been paid by the due date, the reservation will be cancelled and the owner has the right to rent the property again for that time
.If the reservation is made less than 4 weeks before the start of the rental period, the customer must pay the entire invoice at once.
Customer Details
Upon request, the customer is obliged to inform the owner of the following information:
Customer's name, home address, telephone number, email address Number and age of guests
The owner has the right to request proof of the identity of the customer.
Rental period
Therental period starts on Saturday at 4 p.m. and ends on Saturday at 12 p.m. The other start and end times of the rental period are agreed separately in
writing.Access to the object
The property must not be handed over to a third party. No camping, motorhome or caravan can be accommodated on the site without prior written permission.
The customer should take into account the residents of neighboring properties when staying in the area. The tenant should be aware of the boundaries of the property.
Key/door code
Thedoor of the property has a smart lock that works with a code, for which the customer receives a code 3 days before the start of the rental period. The code is sent to the customer by e-mail. The code only works during the rental period
. Thekey to the outdoor storage room is on the wall of the vestibule next to the electrical panel. The customer is obliged to lock the door of the warehouse and return the key to the storage room before departure. A fee of €50 will be charged for the loss of the external storage key.
Condition of the object
The item is handed over to the customer cleaned and in good condition. Please check the condition of the item as soon as you arrive at the destination and inform the owner of any deficiencies and considerations immediately.
Pets
Pets are allowed but must be notified at the time of booking. Pets are subject to an additional fee of €30/week.
Do not let your pet sleep on beds or sofas, and clean up your pet droppings from the yard and the beach.
Drinking water
The target's tap water is drinkable, but may exhibit taste/color changes (iron).
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the property. In the open air, cigarette butts are placed in a container intended for them
.Handover and check of the object
Unless otherwise agreed, the rental of the property includes final cleaning. In any case, the customer is obliged to take care of the following matters when leaving the destination:
wash the dishes clean and put them in place take the waste to the waste point take the bottles and cans packed in a plastic bag to the front door or with you away if you have ordered the linen as an extra service, please leave the used sheets and towels stacked on the bed to take the groceries you brought with you away or in the trash can
At the property you will find the necessary cleaning equipment for the final cleaning. Please note that the property's door code will cease to operate at the end of the rental period
.The owner checks the item as quickly as possible after the handover.
Applicable law and place of litigation
The parties seek to resolve disputes arising out of the agreement through mutual negotiations. If no agreement is reached in the negotiations, the disputes will be settled in the District Court of Itä-Uusimaa. The contract is governed by Finnish law.
The customer is obliged to compensate the owner for the damage caused to the object or its movable property.
