Booking and cancellation policy
Kurjenrahkan Tähtipore Holiday Cottages 1 and 2 shall comply with the following terms and conditions when booking and cancelling the holiday cottages they have brokered. These terms and conditions become binding on both parties when the customer has made an advance payment for the holiday cottage they have booked, or has paid both the advance payment and the final payment in one go.
Cancellations
Cancellation must always be made in writing. If the cancellation is late or does not arrive at all, the cancellation can be accepted if the customer proves that the cancellation has been made and sent to the correct address at the correct time. A booking fee will be charged for cancelling a booking. If the cancellation is made later than 21 days before the start of the holiday, the entire rental fee will be charged. If the reason for the cancellation is force majeure, the lessee is entitled to recover the rent paid. The landlord has the right to demand a medical certificate or other reliable explanation of the reasons for the cancellation. The same conditions apply when transferring the

In the event of force majeure, we may terminate the contract. We are obliged to inform the customer of this without delay. In this case, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the rent paid for Kurjenrahka Tähtipore holiday cottages. If the rental has to be suspended due to disruptive behavior, rental fees will not be refunded. The landlord is not obliged to repay the rent due to damage caused by a third party (e.g. natural phenomena, storm,
power failure). -
Payment terms
Booking and payment
If the booking is made more than 3 weeks before the rental date, an invoice will be sent to the customer in two parts: booking fee 150eur (bookings over two weeks 10% of the rent, the payment due date 5 days from the date of the invoice) and the final invoice for the total rental price minus the booking fee (due date 3 weeks before the start of the rental period). If the booking is made less than 3 weeks before the start of the holiday, payment will be charged in one instalment. Unless the invoice is paid by the due date, Kurjenrahkan Tähtipore Holiday Cottages has the right to cancel the booking. Failure to pay an invoice is not a cancellation; cancellation must be made in writing. If necessary, the client must present the owner with a receipt for the payment made

Delays and compensations
Key Handover
Thekey is available on the day of arrival at 16.00 and must be handed over by 12.00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. The keys will be handed over after the lessee has paid the rent in full. The key is next to the item's front door in the key cabinet where you get the code on the day you enter. The keys are left in the same locker when leaving. If the lessee loses the key to the cottage, the lessee will be charged for the cost of the loss (serialisation of the lock, commissioning of new keys).
Number of persons
The cottage may not be used by more people than what was agreed when renting the cottage. The use of a tent or caravan/car on the cottage plot without the landlord's permission is prohibited. Renting a cottage to a third party is strictly prohibited. If irregularities are found, the lease agreement of the cottage is immediately dissolved. The cabin is for max. 10 people.
