Swan Cottage is a cozy cottage in a great location. The swan has been renovated in 2024. Rooms include a living-kitchen, a fireplace room, a bedroom, a wood-burning sauna, a washroom and a walk-in closet. The lovely terrace opens to the south, right on the shores of Lake Simpelejärvi. The barbecue shed has a wooden grill and a gas grill on the terrace.
During the summer season (June 14 to August 23, 2025), the rental period is weekly and the change day is usually Saturday. For weekly reservations, the cottage is available from the day of arrival at 16:00 to the departure at 12:00. For weekend bookings, the cottage is available from Friday 16:00 to Sunday 18:00. Now for the rest of the year full or final cleaning for half the price!

Booking and cancellation terms
The cabin reservation is confirmed by paying a reservation fee of 25% of the total rental price, but not less than €100.
The cancellation is considered to have taken place at the moment when information about the cancellation has been received by Pistoniemi holiday cottages.
The customer has the right to terminate the contract for no particular reason:
No later than 30 days prior to the start of the booking, in which case the customer loses only the €50 office costs charged for the booking fee made. The rest of the booking fee will be refunded to the customer. Later than 30 days but no later than 14 days before the start of the reservation, in which case the customer will be refunded 50% of the total price. Later than 14 days before the start of the booking, in which case the rental price paid is non-refundable.
The customer must always notify us if the duration of the reservation or other booked service changes significantly. The notification must be made to the address of Pistoniemi holiday cottages in writing or otherwise in an appropriate manner
.If the customer or a close person living in the same household suddenly becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident or dies, the customer has the right to terminate the contract and recover the rental price minus the booking fee. The disease or accident in question must be proven by a medical certificate
.However, the rental price will not be refunded if the rental of the cottage has already started.
