If you are looking for an authentic rural experience stripped of any unnecessary luxuries, Brookside Cottage, set in a secluded and stunningly beautiful location, will be perfect for you. The cottage is located approximately 1 km from the farm. You can enjoy the calls of the cranes and swans that have made a nearby pond their home, and you shouldn’t be too surprised if you spot an elk watching you from across the field. How would you like to bathe in the gentle warmth of an authentic Finnish sauna before falling asleep to the sound a babbling brook just outside your bedroom?
Included in your hire are the log cabin and a lakeside cabin with a combined floor area of 54 m². The main log cabin houses a living area and sleeping quarters, while a kitchen and a mezzanine sleeping area can be found in the lakeside cabin. The two cottages provide accommodation for 4 guests, with 4 single beds.
The sauna is equipped with a wood-burning stove and water heater, but there is no shower. Drinking water will be delivered to you in canisters, while water for washing will be provided in barrels. An outdoor composting toilet. Brookside Cottage is particularly suitable for families with dogs thanks to the generous grounds, forests and fields that surround the property.
