A well-equipped cottage in a stunning location by the sea. The main cottage has sleeping places for 4 people and features a wood-heated sauna with an Iki stove. There’s a double bed in the alcove and sleeping spaces for 2–4 people in the loft. The main cottage has a floor area of 25 m² plus a loft of about 10 m². Next to the main building is a 20 m² guest cabin with two separate rooms, each with its own entrance and double bed. In the yard, there’s also a 10 m² gazebo with a grill surrounded by a stone countertop.

Water for general use comes from a drilled well, but drinking water should be brought along or collected from a nearby detached house. Water containers are provided for this purpose at the cottage.
The private yard is ideal for outdoor games or simply relaxing in the sun. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy excellent fishing waters right at the doorstep. You can prepare your catch in the smoker or cook it over an open fire in the grill hut. Nearby, Valkmusa National Park offers fantastic hiking trails for nature lovers. For those seeking more adventure, the Aeronautica event center features indoor surfing, a wind tunnel, an escape room, and a climbing park.
For shopping, you’ll find a small S-market at Pyhtää ABC and a K-market as well as a SALE grocery store and the nearest pharmacy in Siltakylä. The closest PRISMA department store is located in Karhuvuori, Kotka (address: Hakamäentie 1), right next to LIDL. And if you’re after the region’s best doughnuts and meat pies, visit Leistin Bakery at Vanha Sutelantie 47—an absolutely worth-visiting bakery shop!
Pyhtää also has a local heritage museum, a moped museum, a packaging museum, and a historic grey stone church.
In Ruotsinpyhtää, you’ll find the beautiful Strömfors Ironworks, a historical area full of unique sights. There are blacksmithing demonstrations at the forge, Helene Schjerfbeck’s beautiful altarpiece in the Ruotsinpyhtää church, rotating exhibitions, and much more. All the attractions are close to each other and offer free entry.
