Welcome to the center of Etelä-Konnevesi National Park to enjoy the beautiful nature and cottage life in the renovated site in July 2023! The cottage, the beach sauna, the barbecue canopy and the large pier in the magnificent beach landscape are equipped for the holiday needs of 4-6 people.

The cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom has two separate 80cm frame beds and the second bedroom has a 140cm wide frame mattress bed. Above this room is a 180cm wide loft with comfortable mattresses for children or youth to sleep. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living room. Equipments include duvets and pillows for six people. Your own sheets and towels must be brought

with you. The

kitchen of the cottage has a good basic equipment. The tableware is designed for 8-10 people. The tap turns lake water heated by a flow-through heater into domestic water, but drinking water must be brought with you.

The

convection fireplace easily and comfortably heats the cabin, but is also suitable for holding atmospheric fires. Electric radiators are responsible for the basal heat. The large window of the living room offers a beautiful lake view, but you can also spend time watching TV or playing board games. Six diners can be seated at the dining table in Tuva.

Along with the tidy outhouse, the cabin also has an internal toilet with Cinderella's burning dry toilet and unheated lake water coming into the small sink for hand and tooth washing.

In a separate sauna on the beach, you will enjoy the pleasant steam of the wood stove while admiring the beautiful lake landscape. The heater has enough power even for those who like polar steam baths. Lake water enters the sauna and hot water heats up during sauna bathing in a tank connected to the stove. Next to the sauna there is a fireplace room for dressing. On the upper terrace of the sauna you can admire

the lake scenery while cooling off. You can

swim from the sauna with clean feet through the terrace and concrete steps that descend to the shore, or from the pier directly into the lake by jumping or descending from a ladder. The beach view can be enjoyed from the large observation deck. Due to the fact that the beach has stairs both when going to the sauna and when going to the beach, we do not recommend this destination for children with reduced mobility and not very young children. The beach is clean water and very clear, but after five meters the bottom deepens very quickly, and at the end of the pier the depth is already a couple of meters.

In addition to camping, there are a lot of nice things to do in our destination! In connection with the lower terrace of the sauna there is a bellows for 4-6 people, where water is supplied by a pump from a clear green lake. Other activities in the courtyard include a large observation deck, a glazed barbecue canopy with a gas grill and a paella pan with a ring torch, a campfire place and a sandy area for playing romps and even throwing darts. The SUP board and rowing boat are available to the tenants free of charge.

Canoes and kayaks can be rented online for canoeing trips at the Kalajaretkeily rental point along the cottage roads. The company in question also organizes numerous guided tours of the area's attractions. On the excursion site you can explore and plan in advance the wide variety of canoeing and hiking destinations that are located around our cottage.

Guided hiking trails in Etelä-Konnevesi National Park have a distance of about 2.5 km by rowing and about 10 km by car. Three different routes with different combinations offer several days of hiking and varied terrains. The terrain close to our cottage also offers wonderful possibilities, as well as berry and mushroom picking opportunities.

For fishermen and crabbers, the lake offers good fishing spots and 11 km away you can find Konnekoski, ideal for fly fishermen, where you can catch even lake trout. Along the way to the hiking destination and the Konnekoski trail, there is a holiday and course centre in Törmäki, where you can have coffee and lunch during the summer. About 20 km away is the centre of Rautalamm, where there are charming eateries, especially in summer. You can also spend your holiday just on the cottage beach, from where you can sit on the terrace you can see the beautiful landscapes of the national park and the animals of

the area.
