A wonderful holiday paradise awaits you in Karhuniemi on the shores of the bright Kurjenselä. Our holiday resort consists of two separate log buildings. Villa Karhu has comfortable accommodation for 6 people and for two people there is a sofa bed in Raccoon, which also has an electric sauna. In addition, there is a beach sauna on the property, where you can take a dip directly in the clear lake water. Our cottage is located on a large, private headland plot with no nearby neighbors.
Villa Karhu is a modernly equipped log villa with terraces where you can enjoy the sun all day until sunset. There is also a covered area on the terrace where you can grill and eat even on rainy days. On the large terrace you can find a cozy sofa set for lounging and also a large shade if the sun shines too much. In addition, there is a dining group on the terrace for summer meals.
You will enjoy the steam and atmosphere of the wood stove in the beach sauna for longer. Immediately from the pier in front of the sauna there is good access to swimming in sandy-bottomed water. You can take a rowing boat to try your hand at fishing. Also at your disposal are the cabin's two funnel boards.
You can easily drive to Villa Karhu along good main roads. The last 9 kilometers from Kolho village are smooth, along well-groomed dirt roads all the way to the yard. The yard can accommodate 3 cars. In the village of Kolho you can find K-Market Saarimäki, a pharmacy and a gym.
Final cleaning is included in the weekly price. Other rental periods are agreed separately. Bed linen and towels on request 15€/person

Villa Karhu offers comfortable accommodations for 6 guests, with additional bedding in the adjacent Pesukarhu accommodating 2 guests (and also acts as the second sauna building). Additionally, the property features a lakeside woodburner sauna where you can take a refreshing dip directly into the clear lake water. This idyllic retreat is situated on a large, private peninsula plot with no close neighbors, offering unparalleled tranquility in

The traditional wood-heated sauna by the lake offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for longer sessions. Dock in front of the sauna provides easy access to the sandy-bottomed lake for swimming. You can also venture onto the water to try your luck at fishing or simply enjoy the scenery on a paddleboard. In front of the main cabin, there is another swimming spot where smaller swimmers can enjoy the shallow, sandy-bottomed
water.Villa Karhu is easily accessible via well-maintained main roads. The last 9 kilometers from the village of Kolho are along well-kept gravel roads leading directly to the property. The driveway accommodates parking for 3 cars. In Kolho village you will find a grocery store, pharmacist and a gym (please remember to request for the gym pass separately).

Moderate cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 7 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 24 hours before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.
