Kaunolan is located about 14 km from the centre of Ristiina, Suurlahdentie, on the shores of Lake Saimaa. True to its name, the place is beautiful. In spring one can watch nature awaken, in summer enjoy swimming, rowing, barbecues and the heat of summer, and in autumn pick mushrooms and berries or watch migratory birds leave.
We rent Kaunola to a family, a group of friends or a single person who appreciates nature and beautiful water for a weekend, week or monthly depending on your needs.
MAINBUILDING:
In Kaunola there is a main building (60 m2) with two separate bedrooms (one with a 120 cm bed, the other with a 120 cm bed and a bunk bed), a kitchen and a large living/dining room. The main building accommodates a maximum of 6 people. The windows of the main building open onto the lake and allow beautiful natural light to enter.
Electric radiator heating is responsible for heating, there is also a fireplace in the living room.
On both sides of the main building there are small porches where you can sit and drink your morning or evening coffee.
BEACHSAUNA BUILDING: On the beach you can find a separate spacious 28 square meters
beach sauna building with sauna and dressing room, as well as a separate main room and bedroom. The bedroom has sleeping places for four (double bed and bunk bed).
The location of the beach sauna is perfect right next to the waters of Saimaa. The beach has a beautiful sandy bottom and gently deepening. From the pier, the water can be reached by stairs. The direction of the beach is west, which means enjoying beautiful sunsets.
OUTDOOR DRY TOILET (ENG: Outdoor dry toilet) is a modern and comfortable Biolan dry toilet. In connection with Huuss there is also a yard shed, where, for example, firewood
is located.It is not necessary to carry water with you, as there is a borehole on your own plot, from which a hose has been drawn to the porch of the main building. This is convenient for example dishwashing water. Electricity comes to both the main building and the beach sauna.
Facilities include a well-equipped kitchen, a stove, an oven, a pavilion, an outdoor grill, yard furniture and a rowing boat.

Moderate cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 7 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 24 hours before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.
