This lovely semi-detached house, completed in 2002, is located on the shores of Lake Vuosselinjärvi in the district of Kelovalla on the eastern side of Ruka. We rent A-apartment in a semi-detached house. At the cottage you can enjoy your own peace and closeness to nature. The apartment has its own side and back terrace with a view of the wooded nature. The kitchen has a view of the nearby Vuosselinjärvi. The apartment is located in a quiet location at the end of the road that ends with no passing traffic
. On thelower floor of the apartment there are two bedrooms, the larger one with a double bed and the smaller one with a 130cm spreading sofa bed with sleeping mattresses. Upstairs there is a double bed and a small lounge area. Both bedrooms downstairs have louvered blinds as well as blackout roller blinds. There are sleeping places in the cabin for a total of four adults and two children/adolescents. The apartment has blankets and pillows for 6 guests.
The overall look of the chalet is spacious thanks to the high room space. In the apartment, the living area connects to the kitchen and the space also has a fireplace for dark and cold winter evenings. In addition to the utensils needed for cooking in the kitchen, you will find a set of dishes for six. In addition to the dishwasher, stove, microwave and fridge-freezer, the kitchen also includes a Moccamaster coffee maker, toaster, kettle, waffle iron and electric mixer. The kitchen has also taken into account the dog's crockery needs. The toilet located in connection with the washroom can be divided into a separate space by means of a sliding door. The washroom has a washing machine, heated towel rail and hairdryer. The atmosphere of the sauna is ensured by a coiled frame and Harvia's powerful pillar stove. The wind cabinet has a drying cabinet for drying shoes and clothes, and there is also a spreadable clothes dryer rack, ironing board and iron in the cabin
.An air heat pump 7/2023 has been installed in the apartment, as well as a renovated cloakroom in the hallway. Shelves for storing clothes and goods have also been added upstairs. The front terrace of the cottage has a separate rack for skis and poles. There is limited locker space inside the apartment for skiing/skiing equipment.
The apartment has free Wi-Fi access for residents and the doors are locked by a keyless Yale Access Linus locking system. Opening the doors is easily done either with the help of a keyboard or a smartphone. Outdoor security is provided by the Yale View security system. The holiday home includes the right to use the nearby Vuosselinjärvi beach. The distance to the beach along the road is about 300 meters. In summer you can find a pier with swimming stairs on the beach. You can ski from the cottage even with your skis on foot to the nearby Vuossel ski slope. The nearest ski resort is just 2 km away, where you can also find a shop and restaurants. In the vicinity of the cottage is the beautiful Valtavaara, the peak of which rises up
to 492m.Well-behaved pet dogs are welcome at our cottage!
Pet fee 30€/reservation, final cleaning 125€, linens+towels 20€/person.
