A well-equipped, high-quality two-bedroom cabin offers privacy and peace while still being close to Ruka’s services. The property is located about 3.5 km from Ruka center, and the nearest Sale grocery store is about 2.5 km away.
In summer, you can sit on the glazed terrace and watch reindeer herds wandering through the cabin area. In winter, you can reach Ruka’s slopes in a few minutes by car or go skiing on Talvijärvi’s ice-covered dog-friendly track or Ruka’s extensive ski trail network.
The well-equipped open kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, 60 cm dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, ceramic stove, convection oven, a full 10-person tableware set, and a wide selection of dishes and cookware for cooking and dining.
In the living room, there is a flat-screen TV with Netflix, Yle Areena, and more. The open kitchen also provides access to a cozy glazed terrace with an electric grill during the warmer seasons, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful scenery without being disturbed by mosquitoes.
The cabin’s comfortable bedrooms offer quality sleep. One room is furnished with a 160 cm wide double bed, while the other has two 80 cm wide single beds. The corner sofa bed converts into a 140 x 200 cm bed, recommended for one adult or two children.
The cabin also features free WiFi for remote work, an air-source heat pump, a fireplace, underfloor heating, ample storage space, a washing machine, and a drying cabinet. After a day outdoors, the sauna provides a relaxing experience. A waste recycling point is located on the property’s lot.
Cabin rules: No smoking inside the cabin or on the glazed terrace. No parties or bachelor/bachelorette events. The primary renter must be at least 21 years old.
