OTHER
Riverside Rukka is a great setting for a relaxing holiday. In summer, you can take a dip in the clean and fresh river just behind the cottage for a swim. The beach is also safe for children. At the head of the cape there is a campfire, near which it is nice to fry sausages and spend the evening.
The
location of the resort is excellent. Here you are in your own peace, but all services are still quite close by. Ski trails and toboggan runs are in the immediate vicinity. Ruka's wonderful natural sites and hiking trails start in close proximity, and the shop is only a couple of hundred meters away.
In winter, you can admire the Northern Lights from the terrace or from your own beach and possibly take a dip in the open water made on the ice directly from the warm sauna. An ice saw can be found
in a wood warehouse.
