"Castillo" is Spanish for "castle". Here, our guests feel like kings in their own castle. The name itself hints at the well-equipped and high-quality nature of our apartment. A clean, functional, and cozy apartment always awaits our guests. And if something is not to your liking upon arrival, we will rush to fix it immediately. We offer our guests 24/7 telephone service, which assists with any possible issues during your vacation – around the clock if needed.
Castillo Moitakuru C 31 is a cozy 56-square-meter holiday apartment with three bedrooms for two people each. It is located right in the heart of Saariselkä, close to all services, yet in a peaceful location.
The apartment is versatilely furnished. The apartment has a heat-retaining soapstone fireplace, which creates a soft atmosphere and warmth in the kitchen-living room on cooler evenings. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment has free internet access. The apartment's smart TV displays cable channels and also has an internet connection, so you can watch all the same programs you are used to at home.
The apartment has a stylish sauna section where you can experience the Finnish sauna enjoyment in all its splendor during your vacation, even every day!
High-quality restaurants and other services (such as a grocery store, massage therapist, bowling alley, souvenir shops, sports equipment store, etc.) are all located right around the apartment.
The bus stop is 200 meters away. The apartment is easily accessible by bus from both the airport and the south. The apartment has its own parking space with an electric plug, and there is space for other cars as well. Electric car charging is available at a gas station 150 meters away. A taxi can take you within 5 meters of the apartment's front door.
The apartment includes a lockable storage space where you can store a couple of mountain bikes, the whole group's skis, or other equipment. The building has its own ski maintenance room. Saariselkä's high-quality cross-country skiing and mountain biking networks run right next to the building. The snowmobile trail is also 100 meters away. Saariselkä's ski slopes are just over a kilometer away. Saariselkä's official sledding hill is about 400 meters away. The skating rink and ice hockey rink are about a kilometer away. So, all winter activities are very close!
Pets are allowed at Castillo Moitakuru. We charge a separate pet fee of €30 per pet. Maximum of 2 pets. Saariselkä's dog park is located approximately 800 meters away.
Sustainable development is important to us! In the Castillo apartments, sustainable development is taken into account by, among other things, properly recycling the waste generated in the apartment and reducing the use of disposable products.
We want to ensure our guests' safety in every way! The apartment's safety equipment includes 4 smoke detectors (in all bedrooms and the kitchen), a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, and a fire blanket. Safety instructions can be found on the apartment door. Safe emergency exits are clearly marked. The escape route is out the front door.
Next to the apartment is another identical apartment (Castillo Moitakuru C 32 https://www.nettimokki.com/inari/7689). By booking these together, the Castillo Moitakurus can accommodate a group of 12 people. If needed, a third 6-person apartment (Castillo Luulampi E 4 https://www.nettimokki.com/inari/8640) can be booked from the same courtyard area, increasing the accommodation capacity to 18 people. Attention! The weekly or daily price shown on Nettimökki is for rent only. A final cleaning fee (90 €) is added to the rental price. It is possible to add linen sets to the reservation (18 € / person). In addition to standard Finnish bed linen, the linen set includes a large and small towel / person and a kitchen towel for the kitchen. Guests can also bring their own linens if they wish. It is absolutely necessary to use either Castillo's or your own bed linen in the beds!
