SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION FOR A HOLIDAY
"Castillo" is Spanish for "castle". Here, our guests feel like kings in their own castle. The name itself hints at the well-equipped and high-quality nature of our apartment. A clean, functional, and cozy apartment always awaits our guests. And if something is not to your liking upon arrival, we will rush to fix it immediately. We offer our guests 24/7 telephone service, which assists with any possible issues during your vacation – around the clock if needed.
The spacious Castillo Vuorsa 3 C (8+4 persons) is a bright (large windows facing south and west) and very cozy 117 square meter (+ loft 15 square meters) apartment with four double bedrooms located on the southern slope of Kaunispää, near the center of Saariselkä. Additional accommodation for four people is available on the apartment's spacious loft (suitable for children who can manage the steep stairs to the loft).
The apartment is smartly designed so that all the bedrooms are at one end of the building and the living areas and sauna are at the other end. This allows some of the holiday group to retire to bed in the evening, while others can continue the evening without disturbing those sleeping.
In the apartment's cozy interior, the unique nature of Saariselkä comes right inside. The apartment's heat-retaining fireplace, which opens in two directions in the middle of the living areas, creates soft warmth as needed in the spacious living room, kitchen, and hall. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen (including 2 fridge-freezers). The dining table seats 12 people.
The sauna area is absolutely super. The apartment's "ready-to-go" stove ensures that you can start settling into the villa with a sauna session if you wish. Everything is ready for you upon arrival! The shower room has two showers. From the sauna area, you can step out onto the terrace to cool off between sauna sessions.
The apartment has free internet access and a smart TV in the living area. The apartment's flat-screen TV shows standard cable channels, and you can watch all the same programs you are used to at home.
The apartment has an air source heat pump, which always ensures the correct temperature in the apartment. The apartment has 2 toilet rooms and a large sunny terrace facing south. The terrace is equipped with four garden chairs with cushions, a table, and a charcoal grill. It is possible to rent baby supplies for the apartment, such as a cot, high chair, etc.
The bus stop is nearby. The holiday apartment includes one parking space with an electric plug right next to the apartment, and there is space in front of the apartment for other cars as well. The apartment has a lockable outdoor storage room, suitable for storing mountain bikes, skis, and other sports equipment. Saariselkä's mountain bike, snowmobile, and cross-country skiing trails are almost right around the corner from the building. The Saariselkä ski slopes (from which you can ski to the ski center and lifts) are 600 meters away. The official Saariselkä sledding hill is a slightly longer distance away.
Pets are welcome in the holiday apartment. We charge a small pet fee of €30 per pet. Maximum of 3 pets.
Our guests' safety is important to us! The apartment's safety equipment includes smoke detectors in all bedrooms, the loft, and the living area, a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, and a fire blanket. Safe emergency exits are clearly marked. Safety instructions are on the front door. The escape route is out the front door.
If the accommodation need is greater than 12 people, additional space can be combined into the reservation from the neighborhood. In the neighborhood, there is a semi-detached house Vuorsa 3 A & B (4+2 people/apartment https://www.nettimokki.com/inari/8807). From these, one or both of the semi-detached house apartments can be combined into the reservation. If necessary, Castillo Vuorsa can accommodate up to 24 people! Attention! The weekly or daily price shown on Nettimökki is for rent only. A final cleaning fee (130 €) is added to the rental price. It is possible to add linen sets to the reservation (18 € / person). In addition to standard Finnish bed linen, the linen set includes a large and small towel / person and a kitchen towel for the kitchen. Guests can also bring their own linens if they wish. It is absolutely necessary to use either Castillo
