Incredibly cozy and spacious 2021/01, Polarhouse Taiga log cabin in Laanipalä, Saariselkä. Iso-Hile, located in the neighborhood, is the sister cottage of this cottage. The cottage is well connected to ski and outdoor trails. The cottage is intended for permanent living and is very energy efficient. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a narrow double bed and the other with two beds. There is a separate walk-in closet between the bedrooms. The kitchen-living room table can easily accommodate 8 people. Downstairs there are 2 x toilets, one in the washroom and the other separate WC. The high loft of the passageway house has two beds at one end and three at the other end. Between the gables is another living room/lobby. There is a child gate at the top of the stairs. In a separate carport there is a car heating box and a locked cold storage, a lubrication compartment for skis (infrared heating). In the spirit of ecological tourism, solar panels were installed in the cabin 7/23.

The rental price is max 1395eur/week depending on the time. (ask also for shorter or longer periods) The rental price includes, for example, final cleaning, bed linen, firewood, household and toilet paper, as well as laundry, dish and hand sanitizers and from this cottage you collect mixed waste from the yard about every two weeks and you do not have to take it to the regional collection bins yourself)
It is not allowed to bring pets to the cottage
07/2024 The “Defa-Power type 2" electric car slow charging device with load management was installed in the carport. At least initially charging power at +4kW (3x6A) level, may be increased later as experience accumulates in load management - main fuses - summer/winter. (The installers did not have an electric car, so actually the device was not tested)
Charging is chargeable (Let's start with the idea that the price is the current Lidl slow charging price)
