Rahkis is a two-story cottage with a bedroom with a double bed on the first floor, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room as well as a bathroom and a sauna where you can relax after a day's activities.
Renovation and expansion of the cottage was completed in 2023.
Upstairs has a sloping ceiling and is a relaxation area with a double bed and TV. From the windows upstairs you can look at the beautiful nature of Lapland and forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Upstairs there is also another low room, where a double bed adds extra capacity for accommodation.
Hangasoja's crystal-clear fell stream flows through the plot, along which Finland's second largest gold nugget, 385g, has been found.
Despite Rahkis Lodge's quiet location, there are tracks and toboggan runs in the vicinity and the ski slopes of Saariselkä are only 7 km away by car.
Inari Airport is only 33 km away so arriving from the airport is easy.

Tight cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 30 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 7 days before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.

Rental Deposit TermsThe reservation is confirmed when the customer has paid an advance payment of 20% of the value of the reservation by the due date. The final payment is due approximately 4 weeks before the start of the reservation. If the reservation is made later, the full payment must be made immediately.
The prepayment paid and any office expenses will not be refunded. -

If the customer cancels the reservation later than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the entire rental fee will be charged. The customer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid if the cancellation is due to the fact that the customer himself or a person living in the same household with him becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident or dies. The event referred to above must be established in a reliable manner (e.g. medical certificate). However, the absence of an individual guest due to a sudden illness does not justify the cancellation of the accommodation for those who are not affected by the sudden illness. In case of cancellation during the stay, the rental amount paid by the customer will not be reimbursed. In case of force majeure, the landlord can cancel the reservation, and the customer has the right to get the rent paid back.
