Siilinhippu is a villa completed at the end of 2023 with all amenities in the Laanipalo area in Saariselä. The hedgehog cluster is entirely on one level and the facilities are designed in such a way that the wonderful nature of Lapland is present at all times. The minimum rental period of the hedgehog bundle has been defined as 1 week, but shorter rentals are also possible outside the high season. .The hedgehog house has three bedrooms, each of which can accommodate two people. One bedroom has a 160x200 double bed, the other bedrooms have two separate 80x200 beds. There is also a travel cot for babies and toddlers at the cottage. In addition, the living room has a large spreading sofa, which can accommodate two people if necessary. The kitchen, dining area and living room are one large, spacious space, and this space offers a wonderful view of the pine forest in the backyard. There is no direct line of sight from the living room to the neighbours, so you can enjoy the warp of the fire and the beauty of the Inari pine forest in your own peace.
In the hedgehog house you will find two separate toilets, shower rooms with two showers and of course a sauna, always with a ready-made stove. So after a day of outdoor activities, you can go directly to the sauna heat to enjoy the gentle steam, and you do not have to wait for the sauna to warm up. There is a washing machine and dryer in the utility room in the hedgehog unit, so laundry maintenance is easy. The large utility room has room for the larger group's clothes maintenance. The utility room has direct access to the backyard porch, where you can cool off between the steam baths. There is also a drying cabinet at the cottage, so it is easy to get wet clothes and equipment dry for
the next day.The hedgehog bundle is designed to serve nature walkers and from the cottage you can get directly to the hiking and skiing trails. Snowmobile trails also run a few hundred meters away, so all outdoor recreation opportunities are close by. In the cabin there is a covered storage room for storing bicycles and in addition a warm storage room where you can, for example, lubricate skis or maintain bikes. A sturdy Parktool maintenance rack is reserved for bike maintenance, and there is a lubrication rack for ski maintenance, suitable for lubricating both cross-country skis and downhill skis. In addition, there is a water point and a rollable water hose in the storage so that you can rinse the curat off the wheels and equipment after a day's
run if necessary.The hedgehog cluster warms up ecologically with geothermal heat. There is also a ground filter system in the cabin, so in hot weather you can adjust the indoor unit to cool the cabin.
In the yard there is a heating pole for cars and a locked power outlet. Charging for electric cars must be agreed separately with the owner of the cabin
.The rental price includes final cleaning as well as linen sets (linen + large towel + small towel), starter kit of toilet and kitchen papers, hand washing soap, dishwashing detergent (hand and machine wash) and firewood.
The hedgehog nest is an allergy-friendly cabin, so pets are not allowed. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors
