There are many possibilities in this cottage, the lake is nice to go fishing in summer, ice fishing in winter. In the nearby island you can find a public campfire place near the cliff and another place on the top of the cliff! The yard is wide and flat. Frisbee golf baskets are in use, as are badminton nets and rackets. The beach is a shallow sandy beach. Rowing boat and canoe are available. The entire land area of the bay is farm lands also from the opposite shore. The full tennis court is now in playing condition! Exercise, sauna and recovery in various forms of games. The holiday cottage is located on the Mattila farm, whose history dates back about 350 years to the 17th century. Mattila farm is a culturally significant building site in the formula area of the South Savo cultural heritage site SR. The surroundings of the house and the courtyard are also classified as a cultural environment. ATTENTION! On the farm, care must be taken to ensure the general cleanliness of all buildings. All guests will take care of the departure cleaning according to the cleaning instructions in the cabins. The premises to be rented are left in the same condition as they were on arrival. The service checks the rented premises before the arrival of the next guests. ATTENTION! Kotilahti 1 cottage has received a new solid glazing for its large terrace. Glazing keeps the terrace tidy and prevents the visits of birds and forest animals and nesting on the terrace and in the ridge of the roof.
