Easy and carefree holiday! Located in Suonenjoki, our summer cottage comfortably accommodates 10 people, only 35 minutes from Kuopio's services.
The summer house is located on the shores of the bright lake Yläkurius in your own privacy. The cottage in the West Bank has no passing traffic, and the neighboring cottages are not in rental use.
Downstairs there is 1 bedroom and a living-kitchen. The living room kitchen has a storage fireplace and a wood stove. Upstairs is an open loft that accommodates 6 people if necessary. In the loft you can also find a variety of board games, a TV and a reading corner.
The kitchen was renovated in 2022, in connection with which the cottage has been installed with pressurized water, which is used during the summer season. On the equipment level, the kitchen is well equipped and the large dining table can accommodate the whole party. On the porch of the cottage you can find a sun hut with a princess curtain for leisurely breakfast moments. There is also an air heat pump in the main cabin.
There is a summer kitchen and a sauna on the beach. The beach sauna has a dressing room and a sauna. There is a 120 cm bed in the chamber, but we do not recommend this as a sleeping place in the summer (+15 C). During the sauna evening, the chamber gets too hot to sleep there. There is a wood-burning stove in the sauna, which provides vapors according to the sauna's preferences. Near the sauna there is also a large wood-burning hot tub for 8-10 people.
In the summer kitchen you will find a gas/wood fired mason jar and a large smokehouse, as well as a large 6+1 bulb gas grill for making summer delicacies.
There is no water toilet in the cottage, but there is a modern bio-toilet at the back of the yard.
The rental price includes 2 pcs of sup boards, 2 pcs of hammocks, Mölkky game, yard rain, Beach balls, 2 pcs Frisbees, dart board, 3 pcs worm fishing rod and rowing boat. For an additional price it is also possible to rent a 10 hp outboard motor for the rowing boat.
During the summer of 2022, a sleeping shed has been completed, where two separate sleeping mats can be found. On both sides there are double beds and loft beds for the smallest.
The rental price does not include final cleaning, bed linen or towels! Pets are not allowed, but not free of pet allergens.
Note. During the cold season, the cottage does not have its own water supply system, but drinking and food water must be brought along. The drains of the cottage are available during the winter time normally with counter and bellows water easily obtained from the nearby lake.
