Kelosyöte has a good network of hiking, bicycling and cross-country skiing trails. An illuminated skiing trail can be reached directly from the cottage.
The area also has the Lappish hut café Kotakahvio and a precious stone workshop. It also has good fishing possibilities.
Young trouts are stocked to the Kovalampi lake during the summer months.
