You can stay comfortably at Sudentörmä Wilderness House, on the banks of the fish River Kostonjoki. The lodge is located in the middle of nature and is therefore a haven for peace lovers. The cottage is suitable for those looking for a family holiday, as well as for those who like fishing or hunting. There is enough fun to do from spring to autumn for the whole family. The cottage is also suitable as a holiday destination for families with children! The use of the rowing boat is included in the rent (life jackets for three)
.The lodge offers easy access to the hiking and mountain biking trails created by Taivalkoski. Great excursion destinations are Syöte National Park, Kylmäluoma, Pyhitystunturi and Soiperoinen, as well as the rocky canyon of Pahkakuru. Day trips are also easy to do, for example. Hossa, Ruka and Posio. Large areas of North Taivalkoski state land are easily accessible to hunters. The centre of Taivalkoski is about 10km away, where you can find Taivalvaara's wonderful outdoor terrain with hiking trails, frisbee golf courses
and services.The lodge is also located along the Kostonjoki river rafting route, right next to the cottage there are about 5 km of canoeing rapids!
Thecottage has two saunas (indoor and outdoor), a gas grill, a campfire place and a barbecue hut, as well as a Bioulko toilet. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen: coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric stove and oven. In addition, there is a storage fireplace and a stove in the fireplace, which are also suitable for cooking. Drinking and drinking water comes from its own well. Heating and cooling are provided by an air heat pump if necessary.
Five adults stay at the lodge. If necessary, the sofa bed can be used for two extra beds.
There is also the possibility of using a hot tub from a separate contract (note! not included in rent).
The Wilderness is available for rent from spring to late fall!

Moderate cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 7 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 24 hours before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.

Other rental termsThe cottage has beds for 7 which are included in the cabin price. Additional persons are charged 50€/person/day Final cleaning by the tenant. THE INTRODUCTION OF ANIMALS INTO TOBACCO AND TEXTILES STRICTLY PROHIBITED! Animals can be kept in the outdoor hall on their own sleeping pad! The property must be handed over in the condition it is in when it is at the beginning of the rental. Final cleaning must be agreed separately before the start of the rental with the landlord. Final cleaning price 350€. The rental price of the barnyard is 110€ per rental period. Felling or defacing trees or modifying the environment is proactively prohibited. The making of fires and bonfires anywhere other than places of fire is proposed to be prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the property. Also applies to the covered terrace as well as the barbecue roof and toilet.
