Taivalviiri is a well equipped cottage located next to Taivalvaara ski center, by the lake Kuulampi. Dowstairs there are two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, utility room, sauna, bathroom with shower and toilet and a separate toilet. Upstairs one bedroom and a lounge.
On the equipped there is a gasgrill at your disposal and a hot water tub, which can be rented at extra price. The hot water tub is not ready heated. By the lake Kuulampi there is cottage area's shared lean-to, summersauna and a dock, which are also at your disposal.
Taivalvaara ski centre is suitable for the whole family. At Taivalkoski there are three disc golf courses, one especially designed for children. Iijoki river is also quite close, if you are interested in fishing. Finland's oldest shop, Jalavan kauppa, is located at Taivalkoski as well famous Finnish author's, Kalle Päätalo's childhood home.
You can visit the Syöte National park's Pyhitys fell ja Soiperoinen lake area, which are actually located at Taivalkoski. From Taivalkoski you can easily make a day trip to the neighboring Syöte ski centre & fell area, Riisitunturi fell, Ruka ski centre or Hossa National Park.

The price of the hot water tub includes firewood.
