There are no other cabins on the private island. Lights and a refrigerator are powered by solar panels, and a sauna near the beach is heated by wood. The cottage has no electricity and no heating, but the wood stove brings warmth and a fireplace atmosphere. The rent includes firewood. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered separately. Space In a log cabin in Jykeva, you will spend a holiday close to nature. You can also bring pets to the cottage — the place is a real paradise for dogs! Rowing boats allow you to fish or row, and on the island or mainland you can also find mushrooms and berries to pick in summer. Welcome to spend a peaceful holiday on your own, private island! GENERAL EQUIPMENT OF THE COTTAGE The 40 m2 log cabin in Jykeva has a living room, a living room, 2 bedrooms and a loft. Firewood and 2 rowing boats are included in the rental. BEDROOMS The cottage has 2 bedrooms. One has a double bed 140 cm wide and the other a 160 cm wide double bed. The loft can accommodate 1-2 people. If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them separately for 10 e/person/stay. COOKING The cottage has a modest kitchen with a wood stove and utensils for six. You can also cook on the gas stove in the summer kitchen. Water running from the lake enters the cottage, suitable for washing dishes. Drinking water can be obtained from a well on the mainland side near the parking lot. Please note that the solar panel refrigerator is small and can hold only a small amount of food and drink at a time. Therefore, it is good to have dry food and excursion food. SAUNA, WASHING AND TOILET In the courtyard of the cottage there is an ecological, composting outdoor toilet. The wood-burning log sauna on the beach gives you a nice cuddly steam bath. There is no shower in the sauna or cottage. The water in the sauna is heated in a separate cauldron. Washing is done in a sauna, traditionally with water mixed into a vat. In front of the beach sauna, sand has been added to the bottom of the lake, so it is comfortable to take a dip for swimming. YARD AND BEACH The terrain and landscape is wooded and overgrown. We wanted to keep the place as natural as possible. The lake is naturally dark water and is great for both swimming and fishing. Rowing boats allow you to go to the peaceful Lake Niemijärvi. If you wish, we will supply you with boat vests — please tell us the sizes you need in advance. FISHING If you want to fish and you are 18 to 64 years old, you will need to pay the state fisheries management fee. Sample prices: 6 e/1 day, 15 e/7 days. Payment can be made most conveniently in the Batch Permissions online store. You can also rent a silent electric outboard motor from us for 15 euros per day. PETS Pets are welcome at this cottage! Booking and cancellation terms
The person making the reservation (Customer) must be at least 20 years old. The reservation is confirmed when the Customer has paid the 1st installment by the due date. Unless the rental has been completed by the due date recorded on the invoice, the Renter has the right to cancel the booking.

In the event of force majeure; fire, water damage, or other compelling reasons, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages has the right to terminate the contract. In this case, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is obliged to inform the Customer of this without delay and the Customer has the right to get the rent paid back in full. In this case, the Renter also has the right to present an alternative accommodation if the Customer agrees toIf the Customer has to cancel the reservation, the Customer must be notified immediately after the obstacle arises. If the cancellation occurs more than a month before the agreed rental date, the reservation fee will be withheld. If the cancellation is made later than one month before the start of the holiday, the entire rental fee will be charged. The cancellation is deemed to have occurred at the moment when the notice of cancellation has been received by the Renter.

Payment terms
The
rental of the cottage is charged in two installments, the first installment, booking fee (10%, min 100 Eur), due 2 weeks after booking, the final rent is due 3 weeks before the start of the holiday. Payment will be made in one instalment if the due dates
overlap. -
Delays and compensations
The rent includes a cottage with equipment, cutlery, cutlery, electricity and firewood. The cabins have pillows, blankets and mattresses. Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price unless specifically agreed. Bed linen must be used in all beds. Sleeping bags should not be used.
Cleaning products are included in the rent. The cleaning of the chalet during and at the end of the holiday is taken care of by the client. If you carry out the final cleaning yourself, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions given and complete and sign a possible checklist. If, at the end of the reservation, proper final cleaning has not been carried out and the matter has not been specifically agreed in advance, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is entitled to charge an after-cleaning fee according to the
realized costs plus 10% office fee.Smoking is prohibited in all our cabins.
At the cottage, one should behave in accordance with the general good manners, without causing excessive disturbance.

When making a reservation, you must agree on the number of persons, if your cottage is visited by people who have not been agreed upon at the time of booking, you must inform the renter accordingly. The use of a motorhome or caravan is subject to a permit.
Bringing pets to the cottage is always subject to a permit. Before booking, make sure that pets can be brought to the cottage by notifying and agreeing with the rental -
Damages and deposits
The cottage, its equipment and facilities, are the responsibility of the client during the rental. Any damage and defects detected must be promptly notified to the Renter. The total liability of the landlord is always
up to the maximum amount of the rent paid. -
Insurance and own risks
Real estate and movable property are insured. In case of damage, the customer's deductible is €100. If the damage is not covered by the insurance, the customer is fully responsible
for it. -
