Peaceful cottage on the edge of nature, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Niemijärvi, is a great place for fishing, mushroom picking and berry picking and enjoying nature while resting, meditating and making excursions. The cottage has its own beach, pier and rowing boat. Indoor toilet, electric sauna and equipped kitchen-living room make your cottage holiday comfortable and easy. The rent includes firewood, electricity and wifi access. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered as an additional service. Welcome to a peaceful holiday! Space In a 40 m2 cottage renovated in 2018, you can stay in the tranquility of nature just 1 hour from Tampere and 1.5 hours from Jyväskylä. At Niemijärvi you can paddle and fish in peace: there are no loud motorboats on the lake and there are only 5 other cabins on its shores. GENERAL EQUIPMENT OF THE COTTAGE The cabin has electric heating and a stove that brings nice additional heat. The cottage also has working wifi. BEDROOMS The cottage has two bedrooms. One has a double bed 160 cm wide and the other a double bed 140 cm wide. If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them separately from us for 10 e/person/stay. KITCHEN The kitchen has cooking utensils, dishes and a dining table for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, fridge and freezer. The water entering the cabin is drinkable. SAUNA, SHOWER AND TOILET The cottage has an electric sauna that heats up quickly. In the sauna washroom there is a shower and toilet. In addition, there is an eco-toilet in the yard. YARD AND BEACH The cottage has a small terrace with outdoor furniture for two. On the terrace it is nice to sit and drink even a day's coffee while staying at the cottage! Next to the cottage there is a private beach and a pier. A rowing boat on the shore will be at your disposal throughout your stay. If requested, we will also deliver boat vests to you — please tell us the quantity and sizes you need in advance. There is also an atmospheric lean-to on the beach, where it is comfortable to sit on the evening campfire. FISHING If you want to fish and you are 18 to 64 years old, you will need to pay the state fisheries management fee. Sample prices: 6 e/1 day, 15 e/7 days. Payment can be made most conveniently in the Batch Permissions online store. You can also rent a silent electric outboard motor from us for 15 euros per day. Pets Pets are unfortunately not allowed in this cabin. Check out our other destinations too — we also have pet-friendly cabins! FINAL CLEANING You can order a final cleaning in advance or during your holiday. The cost of the final cleaning is 60€. If you do the cleaning yourself, the cabin will have the necessary cleaning equipment and materials. Clean up only on the day of departure! However, if you order a final cleaning, do this: • wash the dishes and put them in place • take the garbage to the waste point • collect bottles and cans in a bag • move the furniture in place • leave the linen in a stack on top of the bed • Take away the groceries you brought with you If you do the final cleaning yourself, do the following in addition to the previous ones

Booking and cancellation terms
The person making the reservation (Customer) must be at least 20 years old. The reservation is confirmed when the Customer has paid the 1st installment by the due date. Unless the rental has been completed by the due date recorded on the invoice, the Renter has the right to cancel the booking.

In the event of force majeure; fire, water damage, or other compelling reasons, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages has the right to terminate the contract. In this case, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is obliged to inform the Customer of this without delay and the Customer has the right to get the rent paid back in full. In this case, the Renter also has the right to present an alternative accommodation if the Customer agrees toIf the Customer has to cancel the reservation, the Customer must be notified immediately after the obstacle arises. If the cancellation occurs more than a month before the agreed rental date, the reservation fee will be withheld. If the cancellation is made later than one month before the start of the holiday, the entire rental fee will be charged. The cancellation is deemed to have occurred at the moment when the notice of cancellation has been received by the Renter.

Payment terms
The
rental of the cottage is charged in two installments, the first installment, booking fee (10%, min 100 Eur), due 2 weeks after booking, the final rent is due 3 weeks before the start of the holiday. Payment will be made in one instalment if the due dates
overlap. -
Delays and compensations
The rent includes a cottage with equipment, cutlery, cutlery, electricity and firewood. The cabins have pillows, blankets and mattresses. Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price unless specifically agreed. Bed linen must be used in all beds. Sleeping bags should not be used.
Cleaning products are included in the rent. The cleaning of the chalet during and at the end of the holiday is taken care of by the client. If you carry out the final cleaning yourself, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions given and complete and sign a possible checklist. If, at the end of the reservation, proper final cleaning has not been carried out and the matter has not been specifically agreed in advance, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is entitled to charge an after-cleaning fee according to the
realized costs plus 10% office fee.Smoking is prohibited in all our cabins.
At the cottage, one should behave in accordance with the general good manners, without causing excessive disturbance.

When making a reservation, you must agree on the number of persons, if your cottage is visited by people who have not been agreed upon at the time of booking, you must inform the renter accordingly. The use of a motorhome or caravan is subject to a permit.
Bringing pets to the cottage is always subject to a permit. Before booking, make sure that pets can be brought to the cottage by notifying and agreeing with the rental -
Damages and deposits
The cottage, its equipment and facilities, are the responsibility of the client during the rental. Any damage and defects detected must be promptly notified to the Renter. The total liability of the landlord is always
up to the maximum amount of the rent paid. -
Insurance and own risks
Real estate and movable property are insured. In case of damage, the customer's deductible is €100. If the damage is not covered by the insurance, the customer is fully responsible
for it. -
