The freshly decorated cottage has a modern kitchen, shower and electric heating. The night's sleep is tasted in the cabin, in the loft and in the magnificent, old salt shed. Fresh drinking water comes from the well, there is a barbecue shelter in the yard and a boat on the shore. The beach sauna is shared with the neighbouring cottage. The rent includes firewood, electricity and a boat. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered as an additional service. Welcome to the country for a holiday! Space The 30 m2 cottage in Kaunii, on the shore of Längelmävesi, comfortably accommodates 2-3 people. The courtyard fence offers additional accommodation for 2 people. In a traditional cottage, you can admire the magnificent lake landscape from the courtyard or from the glass veranda. From the beach sauna you can walk up the stairs to the water to polish and refresh yourself. The cottage has its own beach and a rowing boat is at your disposal. If you have your own canoe or kayak, you can easily paddle from the shallow kayak dock. In the barbecue shed you will cook sausages and other delicacies for the whole group. GENERAL EQUIPMENT OF THE COTTAGE The beautiful cottage has a living room, kitchen and bedroom. The cottage has electric heating and running water. The rent includes firewood, electricity and a boat. BEDROOMS The bedroom has a double bed 140 cm wide. The living room has a sofa bed for 1-2 people and a loft for 1-2 people. In the old salt cellar in the courtyard there is a decorated summer room with sleeping places for 2 people. NB! Although there are several sleeping places, for comfort we recommend a cabin for max. 5 people. If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them separately from us for 10 e/person/stay. KITCHEN AND BARBECUE The modern kitchen has cooking utensils, dishes and a dining table for 5 people. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, a fridge and a microwave. Fresh water comes inside from the borehole and is suitable for drinking and cooking. In the courtyard there is a log grill room with a wood-fired grill. SAUNA, SHOWER AND TOILET The cottage has a shower and an ecological outdoor toilet in the cottage yard. The traditional lakeside sauna is shared with our other rented cottage. Cold water from the lake enters the sauna, which is heated in a tank on the side of the stove. It takes less than an hour to heat up the sauna, after which you can enjoy! The sauna does not have a shower, but washing is traditionally done with water mixed into the vat. Heating and sauna shifts have always been flexibly agreed between the neighbouring cottage. Sauna shifts can be implemented, for example, so that the cottagers who have heated the sauna first take the sauna, and then it is the turn of the neighbor. YARD AND BEACH The cottage yard is an organic lawn where you can walk along the paths. On the platform there is a small seating area for 4 people. There is a shallow kayak pier at the beach, from where you can paddle to Längelmävesi by your own kayak or canoe. You can go fishing or rowing on a rowing boat. Booking and cancellation terms
The person making the reservation (Customer) must be at least 20 years old. The reservation is confirmed when the Customer has paid the 1st installment by the due date. Unless the rental has been completed by the due date recorded on the invoice, the Renter has the right to cancel the booking.

In the event of force majeure; fire, water damage, or other compelling reasons, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages has the right to terminate the contract. In this case, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is obliged to inform the Customer of this without delay and the Customer has the right to get the rent paid back in full. In this case, the Renter also has the right to present an alternative accommodation if the Customer agrees toIf the Customer has to cancel the reservation, the Customer must be notified immediately after the obstacle arises. If the cancellation occurs more than a month before the agreed rental date, the reservation fee will be withheld. If the cancellation is made later than one month before the start of the holiday, the entire rental fee will be charged. The cancellation is deemed to have occurred at the moment when the notice of cancellation has been received by the Renter.

Payment terms
The
rental of the cottage is charged in two installments, the first installment, booking fee (10%, min 100 Eur), due 2 weeks after booking, the final rent is due 3 weeks before the start of the holiday. Payment will be made in one instalment if the due dates
overlap. -
Delays and compensations
The rent includes a cottage with equipment, cutlery, cutlery, electricity and firewood. The cabins have pillows, blankets and mattresses. Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental price unless specifically agreed. Bed linen must be used in all beds. Sleeping bags should not be used.
Cleaning products are included in the rent. The cleaning of the chalet during and at the end of the holiday is taken care of by the client. If you carry out the final cleaning yourself, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions given and complete and sign a possible checklist. If, at the end of the reservation, proper final cleaning has not been carried out and the matter has not been specifically agreed in advance, Salkolahden Holiday Cottages is entitled to charge an after-cleaning fee according to the
realized costs plus 10% office fee.Smoking is prohibited in all our cabins.
At the cottage, one should behave in accordance with the general good manners, without causing excessive disturbance.

When making a reservation, you must agree on the number of persons, if your cottage is visited by people who have not been agreed upon at the time of booking, you must inform the renter accordingly. The use of a motorhome or caravan is subject to a permit.
Bringing pets to the cottage is always subject to a permit. Before booking, make sure that pets can be brought to the cottage by notifying and agreeing with the rental -
Damages and deposits
The cottage, its equipment and facilities, are the responsibility of the client during the rental. Any damage and defects detected must be promptly notified to the Renter. The total liability of the landlord is always
up to the maximum amount of the rent paid. -
Insurance and own risks
Real estate and movable property are insured. In case of damage, the customer's deductible is €100. If the damage is not covered by the insurance, the customer is fully responsible
for it. -
