lovely log cabin that breathes the atmosphere of the archipelago in the beautiful island of Älgön, in the midst of Tammisaari National Park. Approximately 100 km drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area and 130 km from Turku. The place is excellent for tenants who appreciate the tranquility of nature and the beauty of the Gulf of Finland archipelago, for whom a boat trip to the island, carrying water and heating a wooden sauna more an opportunity than a disadvantage. The large island of Älgön makes it possible to move in nature, in addition to the sea areas, along the trails of the national park, nearby cliffs and old forests. From the nearest boat beach (Glännviken) you can reach the cottage with a sheltered motorboat ride of about 10 minutes or less than 4 km by rowing. It is also possible to order a boat taxi from nearby Sommaröstrand to make travelling easier. The rental includes a small rowing boat on arrival, and motorboat rental can be requested separately at an
additional cost.
The cottage is fully electrified, and fresh water can be supplied from a borehole on the property.
The cottage has a main sofa bed (2 persons), a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a wood-burning sauna and a washroom. The larger bedroom has a wide fixed double bed. The smaller bedroom has a spread out sofa bed for 2 people. The recommended number of people is 4, but a tuva sofa bed and a courtyard cottage offer additional accommodation options. Bed linen and towels are not included in the rent.
The kitchen has a stove with ovens, a microwave, a coffee machine, an electric kettle and a sink. Complete tableware for 6 people. The courtyard has 2 separate terraces with garden furniture

It is possible to attach to the newly renovated pier with a larger boat. A southern and sheltered sandy beach suitable for children, on which the sun shines for a long
time.
Cleaning is not included in the rent, the tenant is responsible for himself.
The cottage is not rented for loud partying use. Remote work can be done via 4g or 5g connection (not
tested on all operators)
The cottage is rented from May to October. In the high season of summer, mainly weekly rental. You can also ask for shorter periods as well as weekends depending on availability, and also times in other seasons.

Moderate cancellation policyIf the guest cancels at least 7 days before the start of the rental period, the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee of the service provider. If the guest cancels at least 24 hours before the rental period begins, 50% of the paid rent will be refunded, excluding the service fee. The service fee is non-refundable. For bookings cancelled after this period, no rent will be refunded.
