The cottage was charming on the face of it and in a beautiful location, but rather impractical. Water does not come from anywhere but a bucket of Hiidenvesi, which is dirty all year round, so washing clean is challenging unless you bring your own water with you in a liter store. The structures of the cottage were possibly moldy, as all the textiles and hair had a strong smell that did not go away on the first wash. In the cabin there was mouse poop in the cupboard, pots, bed, nooks and sofas. Cleanliness was not taken seriously on behalf of the owner. The sauna had good steam, the cottage was in a quiet location and it was nice to watch the New Year's fireworks!
