My island - my own peace. Lomsansaari is a quiet half-hectare island in Kurkijärvi in Vilppula and the cottage with its sauna and outbuildings are the only buildings on the island. Between the rocky shores of the wooded island, in addition to the two-storey actual cottage, there is a small beach sauna with a stove. The upper floor of the cottage has a double bed and the downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed. Sofas that can be spread out in the sauna and in the sauna. It is approximately 100m boat journey to the island by stable boat, which is in use freely throughout the reservation. There is a private parking space for the car
by the boat yard.
In the cottage you will find a kitchen with dishes and modern household appliances. Equipment includes dishwasher, fireplace, TV and cooling/heating air heat pump. On the island, a neat composting dry toilet in a nearby outbuilding. The beach sauna has a shower and a traditional wooden sauna with a cauldron. The island's drinking water comes from the lake, which is pure for domestic water, but you should bring drinking water with you or ask for it to be delivered ready to the island.
