For those who want to enjoy the wonderful open lake landscape of Saimaa during your holiday, bird singing, ducks swimming on the beach waves. From bathing in a wooden sauna, bathing in clear water. Saimaa Raikala is located in Vuoriniemi, Punkaharju, on the shores of the bright and scenic Saimaa. As a specialty, it is possible to see the famous Saimaa ringed seal alive. Nearby are the forest areas of Haarikko, which have been designated as a national park.
The ridge landscape of Punkaharju is also a must for everyone to see.

log villa in Honkarakenne has a living-kitchen downstairs, a bedroom with a double bed and a washroom with an internal toilet and a walk-in shower. The terrace has garden furniture and a swing. Upstairs there is an open loft with a fold-out bed for two and a bedroom with two double beds. In the kitchen, versatile tableware, electric stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The air heat pump can be used to heat or cool. TV and unlimited Wifi
are included.
There is a summer barn in the yard, a half-timbered shed behind the cottage and a rubbish shed. On the beach there is a wooden sauna with a living room with cold water in summer and winter, a gazebo, a yard table, a pier and a rowing boat.
The beach has a gentle hard bottom and on the left is a very fine sandy beach, really child-friendly. There is also a yard swing and a sandbox for children.
Pets are welcome in Raikala for 50 euros/piece In the
Vuoriniemi Salomets, there are the best places for wobblers, blueberries and lingonberries in the area. There are also good wooded areas nearby for mushroom
picking.
The villa is especially suitable for nature lovers and those who want a wonderful open lake landscape in Saimaa. The child-friendly beach is great for water games for the little ones in the family. A holiday watching the sunset from the terrace and the trolling of ducks is a real pleasure.
You can go hiking in the forest, swamp, walk along village roads.
